The software can be updated via the internet once the Tigermoth Interface has been installed and activated. This will check for the latest build and download and install any updates that are available for the software.
Close the Software¶
It is very important that all activate windows and instances of the Tigermoth Software Interface are fully closed before running the Automatic Update application.
Failing to close all instances of the software can result in unintended errors that will require any active Tigermoth.exe processes to be ended using the Windows Task Manager application.
To use the Tigermoth Update application then you must be able to browse the internet using a web browser on the local desktop that is being updated. The Tigermoth Update application cannot be used if you do not have internet access from the local machine's active account.
CHECK THAT ALL ACTIVE, OPEN OR RUNNING TIGERMOTH WINDOWS AND INSTANCES ARE CLOSED.
Run the Update Application¶
Click on the Windows Start Button at the bottom left and start the Tigermoth/Update app.
The Update application will connect to the internet and check if there are any new Updates available for the software. If Updates are available, click the Update button to proceed and automatically install the latest build of the software as shown below.
The Update application will download and install the latest build of the software. The update may take a few minutes to download and extract, depending on the speed of the available internet connection. The download file size is normally around 40MB. The software will notify the end-user once the update is compete and the Update application can be closed by clicking Finish.
